ordinary ritual {altered book pages}

This altered book has become a place of both spontaneity and intention for my practice. A place to come as I am, to be, to respond to what is with whatever energy I have. I'm not trying to prove anything in these pages - just touch on the organic truth of my relationship with them.

I like that the pages have the aesthetic of imagery from another time, like rooted memories and timeless wisdom infusing into my awareness, celebrating tradition, pattern AND change.

Coming to the pages feels like ritual. Blessed, ordinary ritual.
