Ensemble. by Indigo Carlton

When it comes to art and healing,
it is my belief that there is no greater medicine
than the power of sharing our stories.
The hard ones.
The ones that make us feel really vulnerable when we do.
Because these are the ones others need to hear.
To empower them to share their stories,
in whatever way is best for their own healing and release and growth.
We women need this from each other
more than ever.
For today’s Artist~Healer Circle
I’d like to direct you to a post by a woman in both my painting tribe
and my Art of Prayer group,
Indigo Carlton
She isn’t talking necessarily about being an artist or healer,
but has recently embodied the power of both
by stepping courageously into the experience of her own art,
vulnerability and healing…
and by sharing her story
(Thank you, Indigo, for allowing me to share this inspiration and insight with others.)
