Hi. I’m Hali Karla – an artist, teacher, healing catalyst and guide for soulful creatives.
I share ways to explore your inner world, heal your heart, calm your mind and nourish your spirit & sense of wonder. My offerings will help you develop a meaningful & joyful creative practice to support you as you navigate & celebrate life.
Holistic Creative Practice for Joy, Healing, Discovery & Devotion
As a process of discovery and expression, creative practice is potent for personal growth, soulful well-being and navigating healing and change. Actively engaging with and observing your Creative Process through intentional journal-keeping or art-making can be deeply insightful on many interconnected levels for your quality of life and becoming.
Visual creating goes where words cannot, and reflective free-association through journaling permeates from a deeper truth within our psyches.
Both can help make visible what is so often invisible within – giving us the chance to release unhelpful barriers and patterns, and bringing more consciousness to how we engage and relate.
Through developing a relationship with our innate spontaneity and curiosity, this ‘work’ helps tone our resiliency, expand our perspectives and revitalize our joy for life. It often helps us develop or re-discover intimacy, presence and courageous engagement with all the ways we see, be and relate, and can feel like much-needed healing, revealing and coming home within.
The offerings & invitations here at Hali Karla Arts are intended to catalyze, deepen and nurture your relationships to self, others, the world and Creator – and to infuse your living experience with a sense of engaged courage, presence, generosity and wonder.
Hali Karla is an artist and teacher passionate about cultivating holistic-creative perspective as a way of navigating life and relationship. She enjoys bringing offerings to others that inspire self-acceptance, nurture healing, celebrate wholeness and honor the mystery of interconnection.
Her art education, end-of-life caregiving experience and astrology studies all help create a soulful framework for her imagery and how she guides others, which has been described as evoking a meaningful sense of the sacred, and holding safe space for truth-telling, making connections and opening to courageous transformation.
Her daily prayer and art practices guide and ground her life and work in the world.
Hali lives in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina with her husband – musician and artist Steve Karla – and their beloved four-legged companions.
