Salt-Water Cleanse, Soul-Stories and Sunrise Prayers - Instagram Weekly Round-Up

I share over at Instagram pretty regularly, which is by far my favorite social media place to hang out, connect and be inspired these days.

I'm keeping a weekly review of what I share over there, here on the blog, as a sort of visual journal of my images and process.

This week was quiet, in all the ways, as we ran away to the beach for a few days.

September 21:

We so need this.

September 22:

Today. Sand, salt water, dunes, sun, marshes, birds, gators, rolling clouds, lots of space, deep breaths and a little bit of moving color around, of course.

The bars are for protection of course, and certainly lovely, but still unsettling somehow, in all the ways doors, windows and walls can speak of soul stories and weathering transitions. This was the home of an American sculptor, Anna Huntington.

September 23, Equinox:

Sunrise and smoky prayers this morning in the comfort of soft blue.

Nature's altars will always be my favorite.

We were at the beach for the first part of the week, and able to unplug and breathe in some much needed clarity and rest. I took a bunch more photos, but I'm saving those for us, and maybe a blog post soon.

Are you on Instagram? I would love to connect with you there!
